The Vineyard
The Beardslee Homestead vineyard has been newly planted over the past four years with nearly 1000 grapevines of various cold-hardy varieties including Frontenac red, white, and gris. The vineyard is planted in North-South rows with full East to West sunshine throughout the day. It is also located along the Unadilla River Valley creating a micro-climate that should enhance their growth. The vineyard makes a lovely setting for a picnic or reception or simply a stroll. Located right across the street from the main house, it is both accessible and private. Come and fulfill your dream of hosting a long-table wine-tasting dinner at The Beardslee Homestead.

In 2025, The Beardslee Homestead is considering a new concept: Adopt a Row. For a certain amount of money, still to be determined, you and your family would provide financing necessary to enhance the sustainability of our vineyard. In return, you would be entitled to the grapes of one row to pick and make your own wine here at the Homestead year after year. Adopt a row of vines and follow its growth step by step for a whole year.Observe the vine and grapes grow until they become a bottle of wine. Live the experience that we live as grape growers and deeply feel the love of our daily work. Share all the important moments in the year from planting to training, from pruning to picking, from pressing to bottling, from your own label to your own tasting! More information will follow in the Summer of 2025, so come back and check.

The Masseria Winery is now fully licensed by the State of New York and will produce a limited first vintage wine from the 2024 harvest.
